[The Hall in the Smoke and Clouds of the Dharma Eyes|The Ink Painting Inherits the Remnants of Dong and Ju]
This scroll embodies the profound essence of Xiangbi's "blue sky and rich colors." Its peaks and mountains are as vibrant as those in the silk scroll "Qingbian Tu," while its misty clouds, imbued with Huang Gongwang's light crimson technique, create a new realm of the Loudong tradition. The Song silk has undergone seven dyeing and nine polishing processes, and the stone green glaze evokes the "endless mist and mountains" theme of "Small Medium Shows Large Album." The replica is meticulously crafted, each texture reflecting the honed brushwork of three generations. Compared to other landscape reproductions, this work demonstrates the influence of the Four Masters of the Yuan Dynasty. This is more than just a reproduction of the profound forests and valleys, but a museum-quality silk masterpiece that integrates the techniques of the Southern and Northern schools with the cultural heritage of Taicang. It is a contemporary continuation of the Southern School tradition of "Imitation of Beiyuan Landscapes."
