【Huanxi Yupo Hall|Line rhyme blends the legacy of Gu and Wu】
This scroll inherits Xiaolou's secret technique of "smoke and cloud silk threads." The graceful hem of the dress evokes the translucent, vibrant calligraphy of the "Twelve Golden Hairpins." The expressive features of the eyebrows and eyes, inspired by the Six Dynasties' silk-lined brushwork, create a new style for Qing Dynasty ladies. The imperial silk undergoes the ancient process of twelve dyeing and five polishing techniques, and the deep glaze of spiral ink evokes the "sweeping black and ethereal" spirit of "Xuanhe Yiyun." The replica is crafted with the meticulous precision of "jade soul mastery," with each thread refined through three generations of brushwork and ink. Compared to more common reproductions of ladies, the drapery lines of Tang and Song dynasty garments are more clearly visible. This exquisite silk masterpiece, a fusion of Northern and Southern schools of thread techniques and the essence of Huzhou weaving, represents a contemporary culmination of the boudoir tradition of "The Flower Hairpin Lady."
