This central hall piece embodies the "Ice Silkworm Silk Pattern" style of the Hengshan hermit, each character imbued with the profound essence of the "Collection of Wang's Sacred Teachings" and the profoundness of Su Shi and Huang Tzu. The specially crafted, ribbed Xuanjing inkstone, treated with the ancient method of six-incubation, five-exposure treatment, creates a limpid ink flow reminiscent of ripples on an ancient inkstone. The traces of silk and silk allude to the profound meaning of "drawing on sand with a needle" in the "Tingyunguan Calligraphy." This imitation reaches the standard of "Jiangnan Study Level," demonstrating a more authentic and orthodox approach to Ming Dynasty literati calligraphy than is often achieved. It transcends mere resemblance to form, recreating the refined and elegant spirit of the Jiajing period scholar-officials, a rare embodiment of the literati spirit.
