[Ink Rhythm of the Dyeable Style|Li Family Landscape Painting Reproduction Treasures]
This work embodies the essence of Li Gong's "accumulated ink and rich color," seamlessly blending the mountain and valley landscapes of the Song dynasty with the subtle essence of Western light and shadow. Selected Jingxian jade-block paper was processed using the ancient method of nine alums and eight dyes, resulting in rich, dense layers of ink resembling the breaking of dawn, while the backlit smudges echo the subtle "layering" technique of "Scenic Spots of the Li River." This imitation, reaching the "Shi Niutang Study Level," demonstrates the revolutionary spirit of modern Chinese painting beyond ordinary landscapes. Beyond mere resemblance, it truly recreates a masterpiece that established the modern school of landscape painting, a rare contemporary example of Li's style.
