[Shan Gu Kuangcao Zhongtang|Paddle Marks on Silk Zen Moon Spirit]
This scroll embodies the essence of Lu Zhigong's "fighting brushstrokes." The long spear and halberd, like Huaisu's self-narration, permeate the silk with vivid Zhuan script. Its undulating strokes fuse the strength of the Jian'an period, creating a unique style of Fenning. The silk undergoes a secret process of five rubbings and three soakings, resulting in a pine-mist-like, condensed tip that evokes the Taoist principle of "ink concealing a snake arm" in Shan Gu's inscriptions. The meticulous imitation technique achieves the exacting standards of "tea and Zen integration," each stroke honed by Fu Weng during his twenty years of exile. Compared to conventional works of expressive calligraphy, this scroll embodies the spirit of the Jiangxi School of Poetry. It transcends merely the transfer of the tension of lines, but rather represents a connoisseur-level silk masterpiece that blends the elegant rhyme of the Buried Crane Inscription with the spirit of a sword dancing in the air. A rare contemporary work embodies the unwavering spirit of the "Song of Songfeng Pavilion."
